English improvement

どうしたら英語（speaking）が上達するのか。言い回しや、フレーズなどの勉強というのも一般的な答えだと思うが、どうしたら劇的に上達するかという問題の答えにはならない気もする。言葉はただのツールなので、ナチュラルに英語を話せるかどうかというよりも、むしろ伝わるか伝わらないかという事の方が重要である。たとえ辺鄙な英語だとしても・・・で、やはり、急激に上達するにはおしゃべりでなくてはならないと思う。英語が喋りたいと思って、誰かに話しかけ、喋る機会を増やすというより、その人に興味があって、もっとこの人を知りたいと思い喋っていたほうが上達するのではないか。ダバディさんもお喋りだったから、あんなに言語をマスターしてると言っていたような・・・英語というものは、やはり目的ではないと感じる。けど、目的ではないにしろできるようにならんとね・・・笑

Recently, I sometimes feel how we can improve our English especially in terms of speaking. Study useful phrases or vocab? English should not be purpose to study, but tool. Much important thing is whether others can understand what I want to say, even with poor English, rather than whether English I speak is natural or not. Basically, we should be interested in people or be talkative if we want to improve speaking English dramatically. The wish we want to know about other people more leads to improvement. But, it is not so easy to change the personality quickly that I should build up vocab first. haha
